  • I believe the Ben Elm tea rooms was Godfreys Taxis late 1940s and later, early 1950s, Bryces Taxis, still a shop but also parking for 2 taxis on the left of the shop. Bryce’s was my aunt and uncle, Fred and Nora Bryce. I live in Canvey and have only just seen the picture.
