In a cruel twist of fate, his son, Ralf Hubert Reginald Robinson, a Lieutenant with the Royal Ulster Rifles, was killed in action on 8 June 1942, he was 24 years of age.  He is buried in the Knightsbridge War Cemetery, Acroma, Libya.  At the time of his death his mother was living in Leigh-on-Sea.  Essex.

  • Hello Ronnie,  I am the granddaughter of Ralf Robinson and the niece of Ralf Robinson junior. I am doing a major ww1 centenary project to honour the sacrifice they both made in the war. Thank you for your input into this site. I was so touched when I saw the photos of the graves.
